Enigmatic, boundary-pushing artist NICK MURPHY has enjoyed a storied career since first presenting music under the name Chet Faker in 2012. The globe-trotting Melbourne-bred singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist's achievements as Chet Faker are great and varied. He appeared in the top 10 of triple j's Hottest 100 for the past three years running (including at #1 for the double-platinum accredited ‘Talk Is Cheap’). His critically acclaimed debut album Built on Glass was went platinum and his collab with Marcus Marr was a bona-fide hit too. He gained a reputation as a serious international player, selling out headline tours and and playing major festivals throughout Europe, Asia and North America. Shedding his pseudonym in 2017, Murphy released the acclaimed Missing Link EP and headlined Vivid Festival at the Sydney Opera House, and returned to stages at Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera Sound and more. We excited to hear rumours of new music on the horizon and can't wait to hear what's next.
